Geotechnical Engineering Services

TissaGeo provides geotechnical engineering services for buildings, land developments, infrastructures, tailing dams and levees, oil and gas and pipeline industries, which include, but not limited to the followings:

Material Testing Services

Tissa Geotechnical Services provide material testing and engineering services for accurate determination of representative in-situ material properties and QC of the construction materials and their compliance with design and engineering assumption in accordance with ASTM, CSA, AASHTO and Alberta Specifications.

We provide construction QA/QC for concrete and earthworks ensuring that the construction procedures/ methods and materials conform to the design and engineering specification, as well as to proper construction best practices. Some example include:

• Inspection and materials testing services for utility line placement, site grading, engineering fills, and excavations;
• Material testing services for fresh and concrete for reinforced concrete constructions;
• Soil testing and proof –rolling inspection for pavements and sub-grades;
• Soil compaction testing using nuclear densometer for sub-grades, site grading, engineered fills, and structural fills; and
• Concrete testing service

Environmental Services

Tissa Geotechnical Services provides environmental consulting services in the areas of environmental site assessments, environmental engineering, and environmental protection services which include, but not limited to the following:

• Phase I, Phase II and Phase III Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
• Environmental testing and soils and groundwater
• Environmental consulting for gas stations
• Environmental monitoring and auditing
• Environmental consulting for cleanup and monitoring for site remediation projects involving hydrocarbon, heavy metals and other hazardous contaminations;
• Environmental consulting for in-situ treatment of contaminated soils and sediments.
